Pomander balls and Parasols

if i were to get married again...carnation pomander balls would be my center pieces. these flowers are inexpensive and when packed together on a ball they make a chic and sophisticated statement. i also would be getting married somewhere in the South in a grove of trees dripping in moss with a most fantastic plantation mansion in the backdrop with a wrap around veranda deck.

hanging from the trees along with the fantastic moss would be paper lanterns, and MORE carnation pomander balls...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, i think my husband and i need to renew our vows so i can make this happen!!

Pantone Color Trends for Spring/summer 2012

So Pantone picks the colors that will be featured per season. Wedding World is often steered in the directions of the colors they have chosen. Above you will see the colors that have been picked for the Spring/Summer season of 2012. Bellow I've put together two purses based on two pairs of the colors Chosen. The first pairing is Solar Power (yellow) with Bellflower (Lavender/Mauve) I personally love when colors that are opposite the color wheel are placed together. Purple and yellow being one of my favorites. This purse is shown with 6 different yellow dresses in varying shades. If you are the kind of bride that let's their bridesmaid pick their dress, but give them a color guide line, this would be a great example for you.
This wedding dress shown bellow with the beautiful yellow flower belt is one of my favorites right now. Found in Anthropologie's Wedding Collection http://www.bhldn.com it's sure to catch your guests attention. I see this dress perfect for the garden fete.
I love an unexpected color for a wedding gown, silver happens to be a favorite of mine. Whether it's your second wedding or you just like to shake things up a bit, this dress would fit the bill. This ruffled beauty is also found in Anthropologie's Wedding Collection.
This Bridesmaid Clutch is based on the pairing of Driftwood (a slate gray) and Tangerine Tango (name says it all) Gray has been a big hit in wedding world colors. Although mostly paired with yellow, orange does not pale in comparison.
